If you're looking for ways to getting in shape for your wedding, below are some tips from Rachael Ramos, The Publicist Group.
1. Go highintense at the gym
If you’re looking to shed weight quick, try high intensity interval training (HITT). This involves alternating between very intense bouts of exercise and low intensity exercise. For example, sprinting for 30 seconds, then walking for 60 seconds is high intensity interval training.
2. Take protein powder
Weight loss includes fat, muscle and a tiny bit of bone. To lose more fat and lessmuscle you will need to increase the amount of protein you consume to sparemuscle-tissue losses. Plus, getting some of your daily protein in powder can save you tons of calories!
Tip: Try using fermented vegan proteins+ into your shakes, pancake batter, soups or on top of your oatmeal. Since the product is fermented it actually doesn’t make you bloat! Thus keeping your muscles nice and tight after a really hard workout.
3. Try online workouts
For those on a tight budget, there are many great and free workout videos online to get your body into shape. There are endless ways to get your sweat on – you can find great workouts on Facebook and YouTube.
4. Invest in a personal trainer
If your wedding budget allows for it, you’ll always see better results working one-on-one with a trainer. Your eating and fitness plan will be more catered to your specific needs and you’ll likely workout more effectively with the personal attention.
5. Eat collagen boosting foods
Collagen is a type of protein and works with keratin to provide the skin with strength, smoothness, elasticity and resilience. Here are some foods to increase the collagen in your skin: soy products, dark green vegetables, red fruits and vegetables, prunes, flaxseed and omega fatty acid foods (salmon, tuna, cashews, pecans and almonds)
